I have enjoyed working with my hands as far back as I remember. In my younger days I enjoyed working with wood, making furniture and building houses. In mid life I attended school to learn to fabricate artifical limbs, working with metal, leather and plastic. This new career satisfied the need to work with my hands in a purposefull way. Now in my seventies and in retirment I am enjoying learning to work with silver and semi precious gems. Being mostly self taught, my technique reflects the process of trial and error. I have within me an affinity for simplicity in design. This, I think is evident in looking at my silver pieces. I very much appreciate any interest shown in my work.
